Obama has also spent over a million dollars making sure that no one can see any of his records, from birth certificates to passport information.

HAMPTON, Virginia — US President Barack Obama lamented Sunday that in the iPad and Xbox era, information had become a diversion that was imposing new strains on democracy, in his latest critique of modern media.
Obama, who often chides journalists and cable news outlets for obsessing with political horse race coverage rather than serious issues, told a class of graduating university students that education was the key to progress.

“You’re coming of age in a 24/7 media environment that bombards us with all kinds of content and exposes us to all kinds of arguments, some of which don’t always rank all that high on the truth meter,” Obama said at Hampton University, Virginia.
“With iPods and iPads and Xboxes and PlayStations, — none of which I know how to work — information becomes a distraction, a diversion, a form of entertainment, rather than a tool of empowerment, rather than the means of emancipation,” Obama said.
He bemoaned the fact that “some of the craziest claims can quickly claim traction,” in the clamor of certain blogs and talk radio outlets.
“All of this is not only putting new pressures on you, it is putting new pressures on our country and on our democracy.”
He does not know how to work any of them, yet, he is an expert on the evil they are doing to him. Go figure..

Obama’s NASA plans are basically the same as JFK’s: just replace the word “moon” with “Mars.” Replace the phrase “astronaut to Mars” with “Obama to Mars” and its a win-win.
Good grief, Obama, its NASA…its not rocket science….oh, wait…never mind…
Regarding Mars, Obama said, “we will go there in my life time. I want to be alive to see it.” Well, Obama, a large percentage of Americans want you to see Mars, too

Obama does not want to go to the moon anymore because “we have already been there.” Which would explain the no birth certificate issue…
Obama hopes to colonize Mars. Which in liberal-speak means “sign up all the Martians to vote as democrats and force them to take health care.”
Colonizing deep space will slow down the election process because absentee ballots might take several years to reach the nearest American colony. Unless we can get one of those Starship transporters and just say “Beam down the ballots, Scotty!” This will really be cool if the official ballot counter’s first name is Scott.
Nancy Pelosi already refuses to go to another planet because, as a liberal, she has to have babies to eat…
NASA was actually planning a 5 year mission to explore the space between Obama’s ears………. to boldly go where no thought has gone before.

The Associated Press reports:
President Barack Obama on Tuesday sealed his health care overhaul and made the government the primary lender to students by cutting banks out of the process.
Both domestic priorities came in one bill, pushed through by Democrats in the House and Senate and signed into law by a beaming president.

The new law makes a series of changes to the massive health insurance reform bill that he signed into law with even greater fanfare last week. Those fixes included removing some specials deals that had angered the public and providing more money for poorer and middle-income individuals and families to help them buy health insurance.
But during an appearance at a community college in suburban Virginia, he emphasized the overshadowed part of the bill: education.
In this final piece of health reform, Democrats added in a restructuring of the way the government handles loans affecting millions of students.
The law strips banks of their role as middlemen in federal student loans and puts the government in charge. The president said that change would save more than $60 billion over the next 10 years, which in turn would be used to boost Pell Grants for students and reinvest in community colleges.
